Flascherl (Gifts from Garching are Great!!!): Pale Golden, a bit unclear, small foamy layer, mild to moderate sweetish-bitter strawy-grainy nose with fruity spots and a very mild bitterness in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, not overly soft; slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish with a very mild, but increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite similar to an EDELSTOFF...

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Had this at home cooking Chicken and Chorizo Lasagna or Canelloni (not decided what pasta variety to do yet) listening to Moon Duo - Occult Architecture Vol 1. Pours clear gold with a white head. Very much the better of these two festbiers, it's punchy, soft mouthfeel, a little cereal, even a little dry, however there is a sweetness. I like this.

Tap. Slightly hazy straw-golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, a touch sulphuric. Taste is grainy, grassy, honey, melon. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation.
