Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, canned tropical fruits syrup, sour unripe berries, strawberry, rhubarb, oak, mild vinegar. Taste is slightly dry fruity, tropical fruits, oak, grass, hay, weeds, sugar, grain, strawberry. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.

0.65l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew from trade with ig88b. Again, huge thanks! In the glass this one pours a cloudy near glowing orange colored body with a medium sized slowly fading and sidesticking white head. Quite a interesting nose here. It's both sweet and a little sour-ish. Tropical in a way with sweet fruit syrup and traces of both cinahnom stick, red currants, strawberries and hints of human skin. It's definitely a interesting and quite good aroma this. Again, the taste is at first quite fruit sweet, then it turns and becomes more sour fruity in a way. Nice and oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the bubbles. Mild dry, really fruity and definitely interesting in the taste. Soft peppery sting, it has a lychee sweet tropical thing going on. Yeah, I definitely liked this one. 08.10.2014

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Cloudy gold beer, little pale cream coloured head. Light palate, airy and softish. Fine carbonation. Interesting flavour - really not tart! Sweetish lychee and a super mild sourness. Mild creamy malt. Perfectly judged pinch of cinnamon. Finishes soft and dry. Very interesting flavour combo. But not tart!

Bottle at Bruce’s, many thanks to Kenny! It pours cloudy golden with a medium white head. The nose is lychee, apricot, peach, tropical fruit juice, hay, sherbet and refreshers sweets. The taste is mildy tart, sweet-sour, lemonade, lychee, fruit juice from concentrate, sherbet, five-alive fruit juice, Pic n Mix sweets, chalk, spice and touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Shame it’s not as tart as I would have hoped....still pretty decent.

Draft at Alchemy. Unfiltered golden-orange. Thin, quick fading head. Big apricotish, what one would assume is lychee, flavor. Tart and biting, with a light mineral taste. Acidic citrus aftertaste. In the American Sour vain, not so overly test tube, clean malt backbone. with a nice unique tropical fruit tone. Triggers my memories of other NG Lips beers I really like, but this one just isn’t quite there. The oak is there, but hidden deep.

22 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, bottled on 4/10/2012. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big sour apple, lemon, pear, cherry, pineapple, pepper, clove, wheat, grass, hay, earth, oak, cinnamon, funk, and honey. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity, spicy, malty, and funky notes. Taste of sour apple, pear, lemon, cherry, pineapple, clove, hay, grass, wheat, oak, pepper, earth, light cinnamon, light funk, and light honey sweetness. Light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart light fruits, pineapple, clove, hay, grass, wheat, oak, earth, light funk, and light honey sweetness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor balance and complexity of fruity, spicy, malty, and funky notes; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly slick and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent blended wild ale. Great complexity and balance of flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle: Poured a hazy golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of sour and tart notes with light lychee notes. Taste is mostly dominated by tart and lightly sour notes with some fruity ester and light lychee taste. The cinnamon is quite subtle but kind of cut through the sour notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting beer though not something I would like to have on a regular basis.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy and floral. Light yeasty, mild phenolic. Citric, yeasty, mellow fruity and lingering peachy. Citric and smooth fruity finish.
