Made from a Liu the Brave Stout base which then incorporates a milkless Chai Masala tea concentrate, made with raw ginger, rock candy, cloves, black peppercorns, whole nutmeg, cassia bark, green cardamom and fennel seed, the Chai Masala Stout is full-bodied, warm and bravely spiced.

Tap @MBCC2018, Yellow Session. Clear dark brown, small light beige heaf. Roasted aroma, some choc. Roasted, sourish flavour. Not. much masala. Dry. Thin.

Tap. Dark brown color with small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, herbal, anis, chocolate, roast. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too much perfumey anise for me.

Draft - Dark roast, chocolate, ginger and mild spices, jet brown with a rich small light brown head. Dark roast, chocolate, light sweet ginger and a touch of other spices.

Keg at the brewpub. Black, small beige head. Nutmeg, indian spices and cafe au lait up front. Mid sweet with medium body and soothing, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee, nutmeg, cream and other mild aromatic spices. Mid bitter finish. Really good!
