From the union of the minds of Ritual Lab and Voodoo (one of the world's leading experts in Imperial Stout) this unmissable gem is born. Thanks to the know-how brought by the American experts, this Imperial Stout was created: it does not include additions, but thanks to the prolonged boiling and double mash it exploits the potential of roasted malts to the fullest. The result is an impenetrable black beer, with an impressive cappuccino foam. The roasted notre are very intense, playing a lot on coffee, molasses and licorice. But what is surprising is the incredible softness and fullness of the body of this beer, a real flagship and strong point. Also noteworthy is a strong balance between the toasted component and the more familiar ones to create a perfect balance.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with fine brown foam. Aroma is malty, biscuity, chocolate and a little coffee and nuts. Body is full but not really thick. Carbonation is delicate. A hint of stickiness and oiliness. Taste is heavily toasty, with some bitterness, but also a little underlying sweetness. Final is fairly long, of medium intensity.

Bottle that I picked up from Drankgigant.nl webshop, Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed in the company of Jude and Baz at Camping Leutasch, Austria, Friday 15th August 2025, we had a Thomasina Miers Chilli-con-Carne, Spicy Deep Fried Pineapple, Mexican Roasted Courgettes and Mexican Rice. Pours shark eye black with a light beige, actually let's go with cappuccino coloured head of foam. Roasty with intense coffee notes, also molasses and licorice, in fact there's lots of liquorice. The flavour also following a similar trajectory. Nice mouthfeel, body smooth and full. Well balanced but a bit of a one trick pony.

330mL bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma has plenty of iodine, roasted malt, and a touch of molasses. Flavour is very deeply malty, with plenty of iodine-like maltiness, some roast, molasses, and a touch of dry cocoa. Low residual sugars, yet has some viscosity to it.

It's black, and has no head. The aroma has some iodine sort of character, along with dark malts. On the palate, good body, lots of dark malt. Good body - drinks lighter and relatively easy for an imperial stout. So to me this is a distinctive character, that's actually pretty good.

Tap at 100 piv. Very full body, medium carbo. Smooth mouthfeel. Med-high bitterness, medium sweetness. Med-light warmth, rounded nicely. Lots of clean coffee, non-sour, pleasant deep roast. Also lots of cocoa, moderate dried fruits. Very tasty, very good.

Bottle at Astral Beer Pube, Bologna, 25/03/23. Pitch black with a khaki cap that thins to the edge. Nose is rich roast, spice, molasses, toffee fudge, charr, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises dark malts, fruit slice, booze, raisins, burnt chocolate, toffee, molasses, toasted brown sugars. Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a warming blast of alcohol. Solid old skool leaning impy ... well balanced and joined up.
