19 May 2023. At The Musketeers restaurant. Cheers to Anke, Silke, Nima, Elke & Gregory!

A: hazy ochre, stable, frothy, white head.
A: peach, orange, pineapple, banana, dough.
T: sweet peach, tangerine, oats, dough, bitter rye & grapefruit.
F: peppery hops, spicy rye, grapefruit, some stone fruit, sourish citrus zest.
P: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Bit of a weird 'failed' Hazy IPA (hence the "misty"?) but I can appreciate this.

hazy pale golden colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of orange peel oils, pine resiny, grapefruity and slight tropical fruity notes; hopy-dominant taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good one!

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy light orange colour with a medium sized soapy white head. Aromas of mango, orange and a little spice. Taste has more fruity notes, pithy orange, apricot, peppery spice and a nice hoppy finish. Medium body, average carbonation and tangy mouthfeel. Nice modern IPA.

Good, lightly orangeish dense head over fully hazy orangeish beer; lacerings. Nice citrus nose, with a very faint coriander hint, exotic fruit and dry powdery spices. Again good citrus and other fruit, partly dried (as apricot, mango,...) if less sweet. Quite (hopoil)slick, good carbonation, bit "pap" feel; long aftertaste with orangepeel. Nice! Purchased @ the brewpub

Pours a hazed blonde. Small white head. Scent is a bit creamy, tad tropical, balanced, mild malty. Taste is full, bitter, malty, tad cream. Mild florality, tad fruity. Allover, this beer is more about bitterness. Combined with the carbonation level (relatively high ) and the mild aroma's from the hops, I can see this working well with many dishes. I also wanna point out the name 'Misty IPA' - which speaks clear as to that this beer will not be one of great clarity. Yet they don't call is NEIPA - not even Hazy IPA - and thus avoid me bitching about it clearly not being a NEIPA. I just hope the modern 'beer geek' will realize they shouldn't expect something like a NEIPA - but rather a beer like this exact one. IPA & not clear. Job well done, Musketeers !

30/X/21 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 28/IX/22 (2021-1218)

Pretty cloudy dark blond beer, big creamy off-white head, bit fluffy, irregular, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity start, some bubble gum, malty, yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, bit fruity, some citrus, tropical fruits, soapy bitterness, more bitter, decent. Aftertaste: grassy, very bitter, bit resinous, mouth puckering acidity, floral, good but where’s my dry-hop?
