We see you, chattering away while your co-workers/friends/co-zoom quizzers are screaming at the screen "You're on mute!" – then the scrabble for the un- mute button; that red-faced, post-error blush that creeps up your cheeks; the repeating of what you've just said, trying to make it as eloquent as the first time you've said it. Celebrate the little mishaps with this tropically juicy, rounded and fruity number, (that just so happens to be gluten-free) and next time, just remember to un-mute, eh?

Hazy blond colour with lasting lacy head. Loads of sweet pale malts and soft bitter yellow fruits. Smooth and easy to drink but with plenty of bitterness.

Can from Beers@Moviefun, Bruges. Hazy ochre, big, frothy, off-white head; decent lacing. Aroma of dank peach, tangerine, pineapple, perfumey rambutan, cheese, kitchen herbs, dough, hashish. Taste has sweet ripe peach, tangerine, pineapple and lychee, perfumey, cheesy & yeasty accents over a doughy malt base; spicy, dank, yet citrusy in the middle. Floral hoppy finish, lingering juicy citrus, spicy pine and dank grapefruit. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rounded, deep, highly enjoyable flavour.

New England style DIPA by this brewery in Huddersfield southwest of Leeds (northern England), can shared with my girlfriend. Egg-white, cobweb-lacing, frothy, thick, irregular, slowly receding head, cloudy yellow-apricot blonde robe. Luscious bouquet of orange blossoms, lime orchard, ripe mandarin, granadilla, mango juice, blossoming jasmin, fruit salad, honey, fresh dough, lemongrass, some marijuana, slight sweaty dankness but tucked away in the background. Extremely juicy onset, tropical (passionfruit, mango) with a strong citric streak to it (pomelo, mandarin), medium carbonated, bit minerally; full and doughy, brioche- tot even cake dough-like maltiness fully soaked in tangy citrusiness (orange) and tropical fruitiness (mango) from the hops, embellished by a touch of marijuana-like dankness. The hops do not only provide a wave of lovely fruity, citric and flowery aromas, but also a touch of soft end bitterness, lightly accentuated by a liqueurish alcohol note, which otherwise remains gentle and undisturbing – so it is really that juicy citrusiness and tropical fruitiness that get to shine here, unhindered by dankness or alcohol; this is a kind of brightness, purity and juiciness I can highly appreciate in any NEIPA so this one is a great example of the style according to my personal criteria, hence my high score.
