16oz can at share. Dark browm pour with a thin beige foamy head. Maple hits the nose first, and hits it hard. Sweet, then some subtle roasty malts, boozy. Taste is more maple and bourbon, carried by a solid roast malt base.. Really, really good.

Dark, milk chocolate-to-ebony body of undetermined clarity with a light-tan head atop showing moderate retention.
On paper, this one looked like I would take one sip and recoil in disgust after contracting diabetes, but the nose begins with tons of maple, with gentle acidity preventing it from becoming too sweet. Vanilla, milk chocolate and light bourbon are actually surprisingly balanced, if very intense/rich. The alcohol is very-well concealed and no heavy roast or fudgey sugars break through. Big fan of maple beers, of course within reason/balance, which this seems to have. It works so well with the roast, caramel, vanilla and more dry bourbon character.
Sweet, of course, in the mouth but with a tangy, acidic finish that really helps balance the beer. Toffee, vanilla, maple and mild, fruity roast character are all highly flavorful yet not too pushy. No syrupiness and even though it tends on the sweeter side, it’s not cloying in the least nor is it underattenuated. Bourbon is spicy and helps dry things, and there is a touch of wood tannin in the texture. Long espresso, maple and vanilla finish. Great stuff. Fieldworks, it seems, can do it all!

Bottle number 72/160, shared by Felipe & Toni - thanks! Pours clear reddish mahogany, very small beige head dissipates with minimal lacing. Aroma is coffee and MAPLE MAPLE MAPLE MAPLE MAPLE MAPLE. Oh yes, and a touch of maple. Any chance I forgot to mention maple here? Cause I definitely smell maple. This should be the national beer of Canada, eh. Flavor shockingly has pretty strong maple notes, along with light plus bitterness, medium plus sweetness. Medium body, perhaps a tad watery. This is allll maple. That complicated deScription could really just say "stick a metal tube in a tree and drink what comes out, with some beer for added ABV. The only thing marching on my palate is a latent desire for a plate of pancakes. IHOP is open 24/7, yes? See you clowns later, I gotta go to IHOP.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Maple an light bourbon aroma. Maple and light bourbon flavor with pancakes. Medium bodied. Maple and pancakes linger with light bourbon. Maple syrup and pancakes with a little bourbon.

Poured from a growler. Aroma is very maple syrup forward with some light vanilla notes. Some light ester notes. Some nice nuttiness with some dark caramel and toffee. Hints of chocolate and some light toasted bread notes. Pours dark brown with a medium small, thick, light mocha head that shows good retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and moderate legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet, definitely less than I was expecting though which is good. Some moderate caramel and toffee notes with lighter toasted bread notes. Medium nut notes with faint chocolate. Moderately strong maple syrup notes. Medium bitterness. Light esters. Some lingering toasted bread, maple syrup and bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium full to full bodied and somewhat dry in the finish with medium carbonation. Low astringency, but present with medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is a pretty impressive beer. Nice maple notes without being cloyingly sweet or sticky. Good malt notes as well. Only downside might be that the finish is a touch bitter and astringent.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a very dark mahogany brown color with a disappearing head. The aroma is off the charts with super sweet pancake breakfast. Maple syrup bomb with some pecan pie, caramel and background notes of bourbon. The flavor is the same with a bit more of the warming bourbon, but mostly all maple syrup soaked pancakes, pecan pie and hints of wood along with the bourbon in the finish. Maybe a touch of cola as well. Very thick syrupy body. A fun beer, but the sweetness is overpowering. A few ounces as a dessert beer is all I can recommend.
