Tavour: pours black with beige head. Aroma is banana, maple, pastry dough, chocolate. Taste is sweet, loads of banana, not too pastry-stout-focused. Maple adds a good edge. Alcohol is well covered.

Bottle. A- Banana, maple, nutty, pancake dough. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Undercooked banana bread, pancake batter, nutty, maple, dry cocoa powder, slightly bitter, roasty, medium sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- I'm surprised at how many say they only get faint banana. I think the banana is really quite strong! It really makes for a great beer. I've yet to have a banana beer I didn't love. There is a strong dry pancake mix flavor that is slightly off putting but I think the rest of the flavors make up for it. The banana and maple really help it out. There is definitely a banana pancake flavor that reminds me of my wifes awesome pancakes pancakes. Very nutty too.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma is maple, brown sugar, and hazelnut. Flavor is predominantly hazelnut maple syrup. If you really stretch it you can say there’s a hint of banana in there. Over carbonation throws off the mouth feel quite a bit. Yes it’s a desert stout but there’s nothing at all to balance it. For the price I hoped for more.

12oz bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is chocolate maple roast coffee and maybe some banana if you try hard. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla light touch of banana and plenty sweet maple syrup.
