Darkest brown with almost no head. Aroma is intense chocolate, roasted almond, a bit butter, a bit fish. Syrupy. Taste is very dry almond peel with very low carbonation. Full bodied. Smoky but only fishy in the finish. Didn't expect to like beer with finish in it.

Bottle. Brown color with white head. Aroma is smoked malts, saltwater, fish, earthy, buttery after a sip. Taste is herring, earthy, cocoa. Super-velvety, mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Lots of smoked herring in the aftertaste. Fun!

Many thanks to ArtificialCyst for this bottle! Extreme rosted dry in the nose. The beer starts refreshing with a lively carbonation. Not too dry, roasty with an undefined level of sweetness, somehow unround. Voluminous in the mouth, bitter roasty in the aftertaste, burned slightly sweetened hazelnuts, lots of slightly sweetish roast. Grainy. Somehow unround, but sessionable.

Bottle from Piwoteka?s package to Pivoteka. Thanks to both! Black, creamy tan head. Coffee and dark malts with a salty touch in the aroma. Strong chicory taste, very much so for the ABV. Long aftertaste. Dark chocolate touch and just a touch of saltiness. Just lovely at times.
