Can from Brix Bottle Shop in Kalispell, MT. Pours a super dark brown color with a beige head and good retention. Scarce lacing. Coconut aroma dominates. Strong coconut flavor to match the nose, with a little chocolate in the finish. The coconut flavor is overpowering and cloying, but i don't think this beer would have ANY flavor without it. Medium-light body. Low carbonation and no bitterness. It's okay for a change, but I don't want more than one.

Thin and light, so not a great base, but it does have a big, bright coconut character.

On tap dark muddy looking brown with a thick tan head. Lots of light sweet coconut and coco power notes. Light bodied and lots of chocolatey flavors.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Pours out seemingly thin, dark brown almost see through, small fine beige head. Robust coconut aroma evident from first crack of the can. Behind that a bit of chocolate, coffee and roaast malts. Taste leads with the coconut, artificial (?), mild sweetness and low key chocolate and roast bitterness.

12 oz from the grocery store. Aroma is coconut, wet rock, alcohol, hint of dark bread, halitosis. Pours very dark brown with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is lightly sweet, moderately to highly bitter, faintly tart, with flavors of coconut and dark chocolate. A little thin. Pretty good.
