500ml bottle. Pale yellow-tan body, lots of fast rising carbonation bubbles within. Massive foamy white head. Excellent appearance once you finally get it all in the glass. Solid banana in the aroma. Relatively fresh, enjoyable, refreshing. A solid Weizen all the way, so much more enjoyable than Stateside examples.

Bottle, small stable bubbly head, lightly hazy gold colour, aroma of bubblegum, banana and tooth paste, flavour of bubblegum and wheat with some almonds and an empathic fruity sourness, light bodied and quite dry. Average weizen.

Bottle. Cloudy yellowish golden color with a big frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, bread and some phenolic spiciness. Sweetish fruity flavor, yeasty, fruity, a bit bready, with citric notes, mild tartness and slightly spicy finish with a light bitter note. Medium-bodied, Lively carbonation. A pleasant refreshing Weissbier.

500ml bottle from Terre de Boisson, Calais. Hazy orange gold disappearing head. Not a great looking weizen to be honest. Some decent esters on the aroma. Ok. I’m going to decant to try to get some life into this beer. Now a lot better having decanted it. More estery banana on aroma. more pale gold orange hazy body and more head. Although the head is still quite quick to disappear. More a cross between a hell and a weizen. Drinkable though. Lots of banana throughout. Not complex, not deep, simple straightforward and in your face. Fine. I’d get bored half way through the second bottle though.

Hefiger, etwas trockener Antrunk. Geringe Süße, dann wieder trocken, wenig malzig-bitter. Trocken bitterer Ausklang. Ein eindimensionales Weizen. 13/6/6/5/7/6

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow, big frothy head, a few UFOs. Clove and allspice aroma. Banana, ginger, vanilla flavors. Dry mouthfeel, sparkly, still chewy though. Fruit and spices retronasal. A Curry of a beer.

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub! Cloudy orangey golden colour, large white head. Whetay, slightly yeasty with an underlying fruitiness. Quite hoppy and bitter in the finish.

Bottle: Golden, huge and stable rocky head, cloudy, lively carbonation; yeasty nose, wheat, cloves and bananas underneath; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied, quite soft; lingering, mild sourish-tart finish. Not so great......

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and massive foamy head. Mildly fruity and yeasty aroma with moderately wheaty notes. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, quite slim bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and citrus-fruity taste with rare notes of bananas and shy clovy phenols; sour-fruity, wheaty and slightly tart finish. Refreshing, nothing more. 21.VIII.11

Bottle @ Papsø-Grand-Tasting, September 2010. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head. Sweet banana, wheat and yeast. Medium body and carbonation. Average.
