Bottle. Surprisingly dark amber-brown color with white head. Aroma is grassy, bready, exotic fruits, mango, a bit minty, caramel. Taste is caramel, black bread, sweetish exotic fruits with lots of mango. Very silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Whoa, I do not remember these to be *this* dark, although they always were 100% Wiener Malz. Solid one, but the full picture does not work out completely for me.

Da muss nochmal ein frisches her.

0.33 l bottle from ’REWE Budnik & Homberg’, best before February 2016 (half a year old).Clear, golden amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Fruity-grassy, slightly herbal aroma of mango, passion fruit, orange and some honey. Sweetish, fruity-grassy taste of mango, passion fruit, honey, hemp and grapefruit, followed by a medium long, rather bitter and herbal-grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Would have loved to try this one when it was fresh, but it is nevertheless another great Mosaic IPA and another gem from Kehrwieder. Delicious!

Lahev: Deep golden to orangey, hazy with floaties, medium-sized and quite stable beaten-egg-white-like yellowish head; moderate to solid piney-fruity nose with a touch of soy-sauce; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering dryish fruity and bitter finish, well balanced by a good dash of pale malt. Why not…

Hazy amber, thick offwhite froth. Very fruity aroma, mango, mandarin and passionfruit. Flavour is bitter, still fruity but more like grapefruit and peach with some dusty notes. Good.

Pours a hazy orange color. Light pine and some resin hoppy notes. Taste is quite similar, big bitter hop flavor up front, finishes quite well.

(bottle, 33cl) Almost cloudy, golden colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Fruity and resiny hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, as well as tropical notes such as passion fruit, mango and flowery accents. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry-ish, delicately chalky malt character with an intensively fruity and moderately resiny hop infusion, including citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruity notes; rather dry and hop bitter finish with a lighter malty sweetness giving balance. Another goody from Kehrwieder, perhaps the best of the series I have tasted so far. 07.XI.15
