19.2oz can. Pours cloudy yellow with small white head. Aroma is dank, notes of pine and mango. Flavour is also dank with mango, pine, resin. Solid carbonation. Very clean, excellent.

Slightly haze, amber, thin head. There's definitely some onion on the nose, which is annoying, but there's a bit of weediness, too, which I imagine was the intention. It's got a lot of bitterness, soft pear and stone fruit hops. Not so much allium. Finishes with a hit of alcohol and fairly rich bitterness. There's a lot of malt to it, clean. Good balance.

4 months old. 19.2 oz. can, pours a clear bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has big grapefruit rind, resinous hops, and a touch of pine. Flavour likewise has plenty of grapefruit rind, big resinous hops, some pine, and a fairly lean malt base. Nice grapefruit rind and resinous hop character on the finish -- still potent after 4 months. Excellent.

Good monster IPA, full of pine, dank, and grapefruit, with undertones of caramel and stone fruit and a moderate oily bitterness on the finish. No doubting the ABV, but still rather drinkable for a 10% behemoth.

Draft at the Happy Viking. Medium golden, skin of head. Aroma seems normal for an IPA, but this is Knee Deep, so the taste is where this really takes off. Bitter, dank , full. Classic Knee Deep.

32oz crowler pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a blend of pine hops, floral hops and a malty to crystal malt sensation. The taste delivers smooth and thick malt infused pine hop flavor. The sappy pine hop resiny bitterness is there and well restrained. To midway a wafer thin sweet breadiness is noticed as it picks up a bit more malts and a mild note of caramel maltiness. A few more sips reveals a thin layer of floral hop bitterness hiding in there among the lingering pine hops and sweet malts. Pretty nice.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear copper with a white head. Piney aroma. Full bodied. Flavor is piney with a good deal of light caramel. Not really dry, but so bitter that doesn’t matter. Lots of body, and then for me it goes floral after awhile. Great drink, tho potentially deadly.
