Bottle at Giesinger bar near Viktualmarkt, München Saturday 25th September 2021. Pours reddy brown with a small off white head. Warming in the mouth, some toffee, caramel and banana action. Not bad at all.

500ml bottle. Hazy, copper-ish, chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel and wheaty, minimally chocolately malty, slightly yeasty fruity, hints of baked banana, honey, dark honey, whiffs of instant coffee. Taste is sweet, wheaty and caramel malty, minimally chocolately and toasty malty, slightly yeasty fruity, notes of baked banana, dark honey, hints of milk chocolate, whiffs of instant coffee; minimally earthy, leafy hoppy overtones. Creamy texture, smooth, soft, cloying palate, medium to coarse, partly prickling carbonation. Very sweet, no spiciness - OK.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, yeasty. Taste is grainy, yeasty, wheat, a touch vegetal. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent, but the aroma is not for me - very drinkable though.
