Bottle from Legacy LRS, Vancouver; vintage 2019
Dark brown to black colour. The smell is suspicious, slightly sour, then chocolate, syrup, vanilla, maple? Medium body, medium sweetness, some chocolate, but also some sourness.
It's still ok to drink, but maybe infected.

12oz on Alex's deck. Appearance: dark brown with a brown head. Aroma: bourbon, maple, roasted malts, fruity, even a bit sour. Taste: along the same Iines, a bit thin. Overall: ok, but nothing special.

Dark brown. Just a thin head. The aroma is chocolatey, boozy, with lots of dark fruits (figs, raisins, that sort of thing). On the palate, it's big, lots of fruitiness, and an acidity that balances that rich maltiness. I swear this has more acidity than any other bottle - storage issue or just how the beer is? Anyway, I love the deep fruity notes, all the dark sugars, and just that little hint of chocolate. If that's not intended, it's a hell of a happy accident because this is really working for me, an old timey imperial stout. And nothing to do with coco breakfast.

Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and licorice. Slick body, dark chocolate, licorice, tobacco, boozy finish, good.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of chocolate candy, cola, alcohol, and sweet roasted malts. Flavors follow same with raisins and sourish malty bourbon. Light and boozy. Interesting but not really a fan. This one is definitely overpriced and not in league with the others

Black with off white head. Coconut and malt aroma. Coconut, malt and toast flavour with alcohol burn in the finish.

12oz bottle thanks to Toby pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate sweetness and coffee. Taste is more of the nice sweet maple chocolate coffee.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Fortner. Pours a pitch black hue with a small beige head. Big sweet roast and chocolate nose. Dry cocoa, ash, roast, some vanilla. Smooth. Good.

Taster at brewpub, from bottle. Dullest aroma of the lot. Chocolate and vanilla fighting to a draw. These additives actually detract from the base beer.
