Brown with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma of plum wine, caramel, cognac. Taste is mildly sweet, dominated by the rich malts rather than the advertised grapes. Those make themselves felt with subtle, tart hints that linger with the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Not sure if this is a good example of a “grape ale” but it’s pleasant drinking.

bottle from meny valby. clear golden with amber hue, bubbly offwhite to golden head. deep malty aroma, sweet malts, toasted malts, fainter flowery notes, a very nice malty aroma, sort of like a not so hopped barley wine, or perhaps a really good belgian ale. flavor is honey, flowers, sweet malts, caramelized somethings, end is very belgian.

Sample@Ølfestival, København 2019 (Day 3) - amber with a off white head. Fruity with notes of grape, sweet malty, medium body, grape and malty led finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden amber to orange with small tan head. Herbal, spiced. Phenolic to estery. Fruity. Slight herbal and sourish. Estery finish.

Bottle at KØ19. Mild spicy hop aroma. Hazy amber colour. Nice sweet Belgian yeast note. The flavour of slightly sweet with a good Belgian yeast. Slightly citric finish.

Aroma is toffee and syrup and much nut oils some christmas stuff. Taste is sweet toffee with some spices and oils. Later some sweetish phenols. A bit much.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is molasses, caramel, chocolate. Taste is the same. Sticky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Abit boozy. Ok.
