Golden tart ale. Light body very subtle hints of tartness. Perfect for a nice sunny day perhaps with light rain in the afternoon...

12 ounce can, 3/18/19 (or 3/19 or 3/20 depending on whether you believe reality or a website that cannot even agree with itself). From Woodman's Menomonee Falls. Hazy orange, thin fizzy off-white head, fair retention. Aroma of dandelion, lemon, tea, pale malt. Taste is tart lemon, mandarin orange, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy.

355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of bready malt, grain, lemon, peach and melon. Sweet flavour of pale malt, peach, guava, passion fruit, lime and lemon with a dry, crisp, tart, slightly bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and easy drinking. Not sure this is a Golden Ale, not sure what it is, very unique.

12oz can. Unfiltered gold yellow tan body. Sour Pale Ale/IPA. In no way a traditional Golden Ale other than color. Pleasant hop tone, bitter, citric. Not that aggressive on any front. Mild. OK.

12 oz can. Aroma is lemony, minerals, lacto. Pours pale slightly hazy golden with a diminishing white head. Taste is tart (6/10), lemony, lightly acidic. Feels like a wheat beer, although there's no mention of that. Seems like it should be in the sour/wild ale category rather than golden/blond. It would be a great intro to sour beers for someone new to that style.

Can/Fest. A- Citrus, pine, grassy. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pine, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. O- I thought this was going to be a sour, but apparently a "tart" beer translates into a golden ale, however it drank like a pale ale. Meh.

Can at home. This is advertised as a Golden Tart which I expected to mean a low boost, light sour. Instead, this is more of a citrusy pale ale. Tons of grapefruit, sour lemons and limes. Some reading and a little grassy. It does have a tart twanginess to it. It’s sort of like a dry hopped sour meets American Pale Ale with only a tip of tartness. I’m not crazy about it tbf. Decent, not great.
