Can, couldnt make out the date but it was some time in April, sent by popway (thanks!), drunk 5/5/17.
Really cool-looking beer with a soupy, crimson-tinged violet color and large, well-retained, pink-flecked, beige head.
Bright lactic acid and fresh berries in the nose also draw some citrus and funk from the Brett as mild biscuit and cereal-like malts and wheat provide a very strong backbone that helps soften the acidity. But it remains bright and juicy, the fruity not quite fully-integrated with the rest of the beer, thus leaving some light jammy qualities. No alcohol or flaw and not intensely lactic. Just a fruity, juicy, bright sour.
Soft and full of wheat in the mouth with poignant acids cutting through to produce a lighter texture and tight carbonation concentrating the light malt and fruit sugar that remains to help balance. Boysenberries are incredibly juicy though nicely attenuated and neither lactic acid nor Brett dominates the beer. Soft earth, cellar, must and tannic berry qualities with light citrusy Brett linger on the end. No alcohol or flaw. Another knockout sour from these guys. Their sours are right up there with their hoppy beers, which is saying something.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a nice hazy light purple color with a light purple head. The aroma is soft and tart with berries and wheat. Hints of lemon. The flavor has sweet and sour berries. Huge berry character that draws the mouth water. Very clean for a kettle sour. Very authentic fruitiness that balances the sweet and sour aspect of this berry nicely. So tasty. Full bodied, but somewhat crisp on the palate. It lacks the complexity of the best sours, but for a kettle sour this is darned good.

Tap. Pours hazy hot pink, medium off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is kind of dry boysenberry. Flavor is light tart, fruity, light residual sweetness, hella boysenberries. If you want to know what they taste like, this is your beer. Medium body. Pretty simple, but solid. No Brett character to speak of.

Draft at the brewery, Monterey. Attractive clouded purple plum coloured pour with a lasting pink frothy head. Aroma is tart raspberry yogurt, mixed fruit berry, fruits of the forest, little woody mould. Flavour is composed of tart mixed berry, fruit smoothie, tangy, woody fruit pips. Palate is medium bodied, smoothie, highish carbonation, tart finish. Good.
