On tap at Alvarado Street - Monterey, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is biting, with lots of piney hops, light grass, and crisp biscuity. Piney, bitter finish, with lots of clarity. Excellent.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 7, 2020. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of tropical citrus, orange and grapefruit with lighter resin and pine notes. Light cracker malt notes a hint of alcohol spice. Pours a fairly clear, good color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol spice. Lots of tropical citrus, orange, grapefruit and tropical fruit with lighter pine and resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice West Coast style IPA. Still fairly fruity, but mostly citrus with solid bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is very tropical with lots of fruit and some citrus - it isn't dank, but brings that to mind. Med body. It's a little bit juicy. Flavors are very mixed, but tropical and citrus are clearly present. Arguably a bit of green vegetation. Fairly dry. Moderately bitter. Delicious.

Tap. Press clear pale golden, melon white head, decent lacing. Aroma is tropical and dank, pine, pot, guava. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, juicy. Lightish body and a bit watery, plus some abv heat both detract from the experience.

Can from Ale Arsenal. Hazy, milky golden, soft bubbly head which fades fast. Fruity, citrus aroma, some tropical notes. taste follows with more juiciness, sweet, small bitter bite reminiscent of a yellow grapefruit. They call it west Coast, I call it New England, either way it’s pretty good.

On draught at a couple of stops the last month, including Ale Arsenal. This beer absolutely rocks! Massive, massive, citrus and tropical aromas. Gorgeous aroma!! Hazy and yellow-gold with full white head. Flavor follows the aroma and rocks! I loved this beer. Updated based on multiple tastings in 2019. I originally gave this a 4.4....and am not sure why. It is a great beer, but that score makes it top in the world! Still - I would gladly drink this again.
