Das MEGA ist in Zusammenarbeit mit proHops (Traunstein) und Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. (USA) entstanden. Wir haben vor allem WetHop (Callista, Melon, Blanc) verwendet, welche unserem Weizendoppelbock sein wunderbar fruchtiges Aroma gibt.

Bottle, drunk while trying to decide what to watch on Netflix. Hazy orange, good head, very caramel nose with citrus and hints of banana. Super sweet, this is a dessert beer, lots of blended-in fruity hop juiciness at the end but not much bitterness. A bit too sweet for me honestly.

Had this on tap at Braukunst Bier Festival, München Live, Friday 31st January 2020 in the company of Dominic and Vera (Dranken Geers, Oostaker) and Ursula. Pours hazy in fact cloudy yellowy colour with a white head, it is indeed a mega Weizenbock a touch creamy a little bannoffee pie, fruity, it's quite good.

Süßlich hefiger Beginn. Geringfügig herb, wenig würzig, feine Karbonisierung. Kräutrig, eher unsüffig, langer Nachhall. 10/8/8/7//9

Aroma is some clove butter hop pallets grass. Taste is sweet and strangely bitter nut oils. Not a pastry bock but still ok. Rerate: got more banana and a more round experience. Old rating 3.0, new rating 3.4, decided to enter 3.2 now.

Sampled @ BKL 2018. A hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of sweet riped banana, wheat, phenols. Taste of sweet strong banana, strong wheat malt, yeast.

BKL 2018. Cloudy amber, offwhite cream. Old banana nose, lightly grilled, a bit DMS Mixed grilled bell peppers and bananas, light phenolic, light boozy, ripe Weizenbock finish. Medium full creamy body, dry mealy mouthfeel.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is bananas, phenolic. Taste is bananas, cream, some mango. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok.
