Bottle at GBBF 2018. It pours sweet, oily, toffee, fruit cake, earth, brown bread, toffee crisp and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, sweet, oily, fruit cake, raisin, sultana, wood, bark, black tea, tannin, bit of spice and earth with drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not too shabby. Not bad.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle. Thanks to Harrisoni. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Soft and mildly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth semi dry malts, a little tangy cream. Tangy dark fruits and mild esters. Sweeter dark fruits on the finish. Little bubblegum esters. Not bad, certainly flavoursome.

500 ml bottle. Chestnut brown, foamy head. Raisin, nuts, dried fruits, some dry lemon notes, caramel, some smoky notes, cocoa. Mild bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry smoky finish. Very nice and complex Dunkelweizen.

Tap. Surprisingly dark slightly unclear brown color with ruby highlights. Aroma is chocolate, straw, wheat, milky. Taste is milkshake, chocolate, malty, tart. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite boring, the flavour is quite meaningless. It's still ok!

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123 so far as I remember. A darkest red brown, nearly black in the glass, with a mighty beige head. Yeast and wheat on the nose, little bit fruity. Taste has some yeast, low but present banana and chewing gum, malt in the second rwo. Hints of sulfur in the background. Dry to the end. Nice frankonian stuff.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Smooth and malty caramelly beginning. Very fresh and round, smooth with a nice subtle clove aroma. The body is smooth, very refreshing with malty caramelly hints and dry grain. Moderate bitter, dry and caramelly smooth aftertaste with yeasty clove. Nice.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Chyba najlepszy ciemne piwo pszeniczne jakie degustowałem. W smaku biszkopty nasaczone rumem, herbatniki, trochę korzennych akcentow i kminek. Dobre, wytrawne mimo sporej slodowosci. Zapach wyczuwalne mokre drewno. Dla mnie klasyk. Polecam
