Bottle, 2.5%. Good berry aroma, must be from the fruit. Cloudy dark red colour. Good stable pinkish head. The flavour is sweet with a good berry note and a late candylike caramel note. Low bitterness, high sweetness.

Clear glass bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear red with a small, pinkish head. Sharp, artificial Grenadine aroma. Medium body, very sweet berry/Grenadine notes - still with an artificial feel. Late comes a hint of the base Weizen beer, a very vague hint. Has a pissy tang. 271124

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear red with a creamy, light pink topping. Medium sweet flavour with notes of berries, a little energy drink vibe, subtle seedy notes. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, more berry character. Not altogether bad.

Bottle on the 1659 Bruxelles-London Eurostar thanks to Rich, 11/02/24. Almost clear cherry red with a crimson cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grape juice, sugars, berry pips. Taste comprises mixed berries, sweet, pomegranate, grape juice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable radler ... doesn't deliver much in the way of refreshments. NOT sincere!

Bottle shared on the Eurostar back from Brussels for Rich's 50th weekend. A light hazed fluro pink coloured pour with a fine pink head. Aroma is sticky sweet, cough syrup, throat sweets. Artificial berry, jolly rancher. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky sugary sweet. Cough sweets and pommegranite, blueberry, flavouring. Ok. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, airy carbonation meh.

This review was imported from my RateBeer ratings.
11.2 oz. can, 2.5% ABV, Best Before: 09.21.23
AROMA: Medium scent of pomegranate with cherry and blood orange undertones. I also get a kind of chemical impression, throughout, that I find off-putting.
APPEARANCE: Pours a cloudy reddish-amber, with an incredibly tall, reddish-white, tightly frothy head that dissipates slowly with moderate lacing.
TASTE: It's moderately sweet with mild pomegranate flavor. Given its strong aroma I was really expecting something with more intense flavor. Instead, I get mild, pomegranate flavor with a hint of wheat on the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with slightly watery texture. Carbonation is about average.
OVERALL: Let's face it. With such a low ABV, this really shouldn't be classified as a beer. I wouldn't even classify it as a Radler/Shandy. It's more like a fruit juice with a splash of beer. Which wouldn't be so bad if it was tasty fruit juice. However, the flavor is a little too subdued for my tastes (no pun intended). For me, this one is a no-go.
