4/XII/21 - on tap @ Bar Beenhouwer (Ghent), BB: n/a (2021-1535)

Very cloudy blond to beige beer, small creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass.A roma: cheesy, pretty dank, sweaty feet, some tropical fruits, onions. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, bit sourish, juicy, fruity, oranges, cheesy, funky touch. Aftertaste: citrus notes, tropical fruits, bit dank, nice bitterness, herbal touch.

Murky amber, decent white head. Smells of fruit and rye. Taste follows suit. Rye, grassy hop, fruit, a bit of malt. Good bittersweet aftertaste.

Aroma: Juicy hops with ripe fruits. Flavour: Fruity bitter and sweet with notes of citrus and honney. Aftertaste is bitter and sweet. Colour: Dark orange with an offwhite head. From: Can @ Craft Makers Collective webshop.

Tap at Valhalla. Murky muddy orange-ochre with the thick white head falling apart. Jammy-citric aroma, trace oxidation. Lean taste, peachy, soft rye ending lightly citric before an abrupt bitterish finish. Lean, not particularly attractive, but okay I guess. Didn't expect much from the style, didn't get much.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - hazed orange with a white head. Sweet fruity and bready malty, some marmalade, peach, juicy fruity with a oat and rye laden malty backbone, medium body, piney light bitter hoppy close. Nice.

Draft. A murky dark golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, spices, rye, and barley. The flavor is sweet with notes of rye, barley, spices, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap @ Fairbar. Hazy very dark yellow with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, rye and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 190621
