Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een aroma van rozijnen en pruimen. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, caramel en chocolade en gedroogd fruit.

Crew Republic Barley Wine Eisbock Poured from a small bottle. Had this in the company of Jonas, Arthur and Kostas at the Brewery Tap Winterfest Friday 6th December 2019. Pours dark brown with a light haze, (but it's dark outside so I might not be 100% correct on the appearance) there is no head, a little syrupy, very thick in the mouth. Quite potent, it's okay but not quite as good as I'd hoped.

Bottle. Deep golden-amber color with no head. Aroma is booze, raisins. Taste is raisins, sugar, some concentrated hops. Oily moutfeel, flat. Better than I remember the regular Barley Wine.

Bottle at the Crew Winterfest. Sweet caramel and spice nose, phenolic. Hazy pale chestnut. Very bitter hop, strong caramel roast. Medium body, dry. Nice.
