500ml Bottle - Light amber with a foamy head. Honey, bread, syrup and notes of dried fruit can be detected in the aroma and in the bready and slightly sweet and resinous taste.

On tap at Klosterbräu Bamberg. Clear dark golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, grain and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, bready and grainy with noticable alcohol. Also sweet and alcoholic finish. One-dimensional.

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts. Taste is boozy phenols. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Quite a boozy Bock, not my thing. We were hardly able to finish it, and we were 4 persons.

18/VII/15 - 50cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 23/VII/15 (2015-935) Thanks to motelpogo for the trade!
Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, fruity touch, sweet, some orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity, bit sweet, malty, caramel touch, spicy notes. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, hoppy, some citrus, malty, spicy, orange peel, a sweet touch. I see why motelpogo liked this beer. Must be even better from draft!
