Tap at the brewery. Milky yellow, white clouds. Strong clove and vanilla aroma. Medium body, minerals, clove, banana, dry sweetness. Vanilla ice cream finish.

Hefiger Antrunk, reife Banane, angenehm milde Süße. Weiche Herbe, spritzig, etwas trocken im Hintergrund, was aber nicht stört. Erfrischend, die Süße steigt leicht an, langer, harmonisch hefig-herber Nachhall. Unauffällig, dennoch in allen Kategorieren ausgewogen. Gut! 10/11/12/11/10/12

500ml bottle, gift from ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Pours pale yellow, a bit unclear, with a medium white head. Aroma of esters, banana, lemon, wheat, delicate. Flavour is a bit messy, light sweet, quite refreshing. Light body, medium carbonation. Boring.

At the 8th tasting (round 2), held in Vranovo and Pozarevac. Bottle. Pours an extremely bright golden color, very cloudy with a decent white cap. Nose: clove, tart distinctive note which is pungent and recalls a gym bag filled with sweat soaks :-). Mouth: watery, a bit of straw, hay.

Tap at the Brewery restaurant. Beautiful dark golden-pastel color with a tall head. Fruity, lemony nose, wheat, some clove. A bit sulfury and strange, though original. Metallic lemon. Light and refreshing bit probably not exactly right.

Cloudy golden colour with a white head that leaves a nice lacing. Wheat and banana aroma. Rich banana and some wheat flavour.

Tap(@Roppelt’s Keller): Pale golden with a greenish sheen, cloudy, creamy and lacy and stable and mid-sized white head; sourish - slightly lemony - yeasty nose with a mineralic background and a tinge of bubble-gum; light to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, a subdued bitterness is nearly detectable; slighly lingering fruity finish with illusions of bubblegum and a very faint tartness. Not my favourite Weizen, in Franconia You better drink divine Lagers…

On tap at Roppelts Keller, Stiebarlimach. Apparently this is Rittmayer Weizen, but hey. Excellent. I love the glass, I love how this brewery is in a tiny village and produces 2 brilliant beers. Aroma of peach and banana but a creamy tropical banana almost as intense as dried banana. Mouthfeel in perfect. Full but it’s still light and agile. Finish is even better. A mix of malt, hops and tropical fruit with banana. I doubt I’ve had a better weisse. I’ve had 2 mouthfuls and I love it already. Carbonation is perfect, it’s there to add crispness, but not too gassy. It has a sparkle in the background I’ve never had before and it’s hoppy too. I actually think I’m in love, if this was a woman, I’d marry her. Touch of coconut, mango. The sherbert hop finish is simply delightful. So clean and yet so intense, yet light, tropical, fruity, it’s like nothing I’ve ever had.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and thick foamy head. Yeasty and moderately wheaty aroma with strong notes of banana and a tinge of apricot. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a creamy carbonation. Present wheat-character with primary notes of banana; a bit slim and mildly sweet and bana-fruity finish. A clean and decent Hefeweizen. 11.VIII.12
