Op tap bij Roppelt Keller. Ging er goed in na 11km wandelen. Troebele, diepgele kleur, witte kraag. Banaan, gist, tarwe, citrus, in de verte zelfs wat grapefruit, ondanks de overdaad aan gistsmaakjes erg fris en doordrinkbaar. Lichte body. Lekker.

Hazy, pale gold with a foamy, white head. Aroma is the highlight, banana to be sure, but also a candy and pear/apple mix that makes pleasant sniffing. Taste is mildly bitter with a fermented, almost rancid character that doesn’t sit well with me. Finishes the same, and a bit watery. Body stays fairly light, moderate carbonation. Bottle still a month out from expiration, and aroma is great. Maybe it’s the extremely yeasty character that’s not sitting well with me.

Taste: some banana, soft acidity, yeasty, a little sweet, wheat notes, nice! Aftertaste: fruity, banana, malty, yeasty, a bit herbal, some peaches, a bit spicy, nice one!

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before November 2023. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, pear, some clove and a touch of honey. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, a touch of pear and hints of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally chalky finish. Medium body, very smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very pleasant Weizen, well-balanced and smooth with a fruity touch.

Cloudy golden. Aroma leans to the yeasty apple side. Some spices and dough. Taste is yeasty spicy texture with more bitterness and a little spiky fresh sourness. Not entirely smooth. Quite drinkable. Could have more character.

Swing top bottle. Blonde, cloudy. Lemon, yeast and soft vegetable notes in the aroma. Lemon in the wheaty sweetish, milky flavor with hints of yeast. Lemon finish. Rural, interesting Weizen. Thanks Beerhunter111!

Tap at roppelt biergarten. Cloudy Yellow color, incredibly thick, it looks like orange juice, thin white head that disappears after a while. Aroma of wheat, vanilla, clove, dough yeast and spice. Extremely yeasty, the most I've seen so far. Sweet taste, minimal hops. Milky texture, average carbonation, thick creamy texture, medium to full body, smooth malty finish with a leftover of eggnog and almond. Funny one.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is vanilla, cloves, wheat, phenolic. Taste is dough, vanilla, cloves, super spicy, bananas. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Fun to try, very much on the spices side.
