Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, dark amber. Halo of white. Sweet, treacle woodiness. Some vegetable water. Taste is heavy sweet. Not unlike a fortified wine. Relief by way of a light, vinous dryness. Palate is as chewy and thick as it gets. Loads of booze. Blimey, this is tasty gear. Getting some overripe pear juice now. This beer is all in the taste, and on the palate. Slick, boozy, chewy barley wine, that took me by surprise with its downright bigness. The tastiest £2.50 I’ve ever spent! Which is probably a bit of a bargain...

Vintage 2010. Perfekcyjne Barley Wine w angielskim stylu.
