Unertl Luis I., Fläschchen (MHD: 22.6.2022) von Ambrosetti.

Beide Brauereien können was.

Bottle picked up from Getränke Haussman, Feldkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 1st January 2020. Pours amber, hazy, white head atop. Fruity with caramel and a touch of banana, sweetness also noted, however the really interesting thing about this beer is that there is a very slight infection, noted first on the nose, it's only a very small infection, anymore and it could have ruined the beer, but it's subtle enough to actually change the beer and possibly make it more interesting.

Hazy light brown with little beige head. Aroma is intense banana and clove, spiky yeast. Taste is smooth slightly sour slightly sweet doughy base with slightly alcoholic and yeasty notes. Quite drinkable despite the heaviness. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy orange-amber color with white head. Aroma is cloves, bananas, apples, caramel. Taste is caramel, bananas, apples, spicy yeasts again. Warming finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nice Weizenbock, but it's a bit wild.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Fruity, slightly juicy aroma with notes of ripe berries, traces of banana, accompanied by a delicate wheat character and mildly toasted malt. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly dark and toasted malty base with wheaty notes and present berry-fruity flavours, including a tinge of fruit confit; lingering sweet and delicately bitter finish with pronounced berry-fruit character and a mildly alcoholic burn. Very nice. 26.XII.16
