Bottle: Poured a orangey brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of dry malt with some light bittering hops presence also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some dry malt with some hints of nuts and a nglish hops finish that is also quite dry. Body is above average with some great carbonation. Well done for the style but not necessarily something I would care for very often.

0.5L bottle. Muddy brown colour, almost no head. Strong sweet malt aromas. Strong malt continuesin the mouth, with some spiciness and peach and just a whiff of raspberries, all acompannied by very pleasant sourness. Hops almost unnoticeable. Aftertaste extremely long with a wonderfull sweet and sour sensation that lasts and lasts. A wonderfull beer.

Bottle. Dark amber color with a medium, creamy, long-lasting, beige head. Malty aroma with some hops, some nuts, mild fruitiness, and light toastiness. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit of caramel, a bit of biscuits and slightly bitter finish. Rounded and medium-bodied. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Amber coloured with a moderate head. Aroma of caramel and red fruits. Flavour was of rich malt with a dry finish. Pretty good but extra alcohol didn’t add a great deal.
