  Lager - Pilsener Regular
Score

Our aromatic pilsner possesses a delicate malt flavor combined with a fine bitterness, derived from the highest quality hops from the Hallertau at a refreshing 30 IBU. The first impression on the palate is pleasant and satisfying, followed by the balanced bitterness and aroma of the hops, which is more floral than tart; with its luminously golden yellow color, this an impeccable example of a traditional Bavarian Pils.

(Draught at Weihenstephaner am Hackeschen Markt, Berlin, 24 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, clean nose with bread, cereal and grassy hops. Malty, clean taste with notes of bread, cereal and grassy hops in a dry finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Not really exciting, but clean, fresh and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Tap at the brewery. From old notes. Quite malty, more than your usual pils, with a bit of sweetness to go along with the bitter hops and fruitiness. Good, also with a nice aroma, although a step behind the Kneitinger we had the previous day.

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket hjemme 4 Aug 13. Lys strågul. Litt skum som flater fort ut. Litt lacing. Grei maltaroma. Smaken er litt gress med en anelse malt. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. KI=7.

Clear pale golden colou, good frothy white head, vanishes after a while, thin layer remains, nice lacing. Malty nose, bread, dough, grass, basement aromas. Mild sweetbitter taste, bit toasted, medium body, average carbonation, smooth dry and bittersweet finish, nice one.
