Deutlicher Kaffeegeruch. 10/9/10/10/11/10

330ml bottle. Murky, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Instant coffee aroma, fruity, piney and resinous hoppy nuances. Taste is dry hoppy, diluted hints of instant coffee, subtle, minimally sugary sweetness, slightly zesty, citrusy hoppy overtones; rather watery.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a fluffy and loose foamy white head. Aroma of ground coffee, fruity hops with notes of citrus and grapefruit, delicately lactic accents. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a slightly overcarbonated mouthfeel. Slim malty taste with present notes of coffee, also citric and slightly grassy hops; dry and slim, mildly hop bitter and citric finish with notes of coffee. Interesting brew. 01.X.17

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Very hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and roasty aroma of lemon, coffee beans and straw. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly roasty taste of green hops, coffee and some fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather dry and slightly grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite strange actually.

Bottle shared by SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Hazy murky almost milky pale yellow color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, over the top pine needles, (Dutch: "brandnetels"), slightly hops, vegetal coffee, weird herbal bitterness. Decent body, medium carbonation. Meh. 7-2-5-3-12.

Draught at Tribaun, Innsbruck.
Amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, smooth coffee, lactose.
Tastes similar, with the coffee a bit more prominent and some milky creaminess.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, citric, fruity, milky, with coffee.

I was a bit sceptical at first, but this works surprisingly well. Fruity, crisp hops, creamy milk notes and well integrated coffee lead to a very refreshing, easy beer, that is also really aromatic for the low ABV. The balance is outstanding. Lovely, unique, little beer I could drink all day.

Tap at Taphouse. Mucus grey yellow, grey lace. Moldy Hispanic citrus, minerals, licorice - guess that's the coffee. Light body, dry chewy. Citric grassy bitterness, a bit yuzu zing, dry clay finish, citrus retronasal. A bit past it's prime?
