This wonderful rich stout is made with freshly roasted Columbian coffee beans from our friends Mozzo in Southampton.
Kick-start pours an opaque black and the aroma is dark roasted malts with a big kick of coffee/espresso.
The taste leads with full-bodied dark roasted coffee upfront and oats inject a nice smooth texture to finish.

Previously called Radicale Oat and Coffee Stout.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. A rich chocolate and cream aroma. Dark and glossy. Bubbly beige head. A ’sweet bitter’. Creamy coffee with sugar. Dark chocolate. More bitter coffee undertones. Medium bodied. Silky, although a tad watery for the style. Flat. Low key finish. Really enjoyed it. Just lacks some body.

Cask at the Euston tap. A black maghogany brown coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head. Aroma is nutty roast, burnt earth, liquorice, plum. Flavour is composed of rich earthy roast, toasted nuts, burnt fruit cake, stale coffee. Hint of ash in the finish. Palate is medium bodied, decent cask condition, tangy finish. Packs in a good amount of Flavour for the abv.

On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Overdraft. Oat and coffee stout smooth chocolate roasted coffee epic. 5.7% black beer no head. Lots of coffee. Oily mouthfeel too much coffee unbalanced. Hmmm.
