Soft citrus and grape notes from Hallertau Blanc weave neatly into Wai-iti's waxy lemon zest character in this fruit-forward and delicately spicy saison.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Nice dried wheat in the nose, mellow yeast, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more dried wheat, light grassy bitterness, faint citrusy notes. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean finish with further restrained yeast expression, more lemon peel, crispy wheat bread. Good saison.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is dough, peppery yeasts, earthy hopspice. Taste is dough, fresh yeasts, peppery, hopspice, the Blanc grapeyness is hardly noticeable. Ample carbonation. A great Saison - albeit not as fresh-hoppy as one would imagine from Hallertauer Blanc and Wai-Iti.
