Top-fermented blonde ale. Unpasteurized, unfiltered, bottle-fermented, no additives or preservatives. Brewed with passion and expertise by our Brewmaster.
Golden Ale with hoppy Styrian GOLDING (and Magnum) taste. Very drinkable, sweet barley malt at the beginning and bitterness right after. OPTIMIST is the boat used by children to learn sailing: it’s light and breezy and it can go wherever the wind brings it.
Natural yeast sediment.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is bready, some petrol, dough. Taste is bready, golden ale base malts, yeasty. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid, but not too exciting.

Bottle at Magic Room. The hoppiness is earthy + grassy, medium-full body, moderate carbo. Not exactly to my taste, but great for lovers of english style ales.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy deep golden color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, mild fruit, yeast and wheat. Taste starts light sweet grainy and citric, following is grassy and herbal, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Brew for optimistic drinkers who believe there is still room for improvement...

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, hops, and minerals. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV 5.5%. Golden colour, white head. Minimal aroma, but not bad. Fairly bitter flavour, but not so much hop flavour besides the bitterness.

Flaske delt på RBHD-treff hos Odd Gunnar nov-16: lett uklar korngylden med fint skum. God aroma og enda bedre smak av tropiske frukter, mandariner, litt appelsinmarmelade. Deilig, lett bitterhet i ettersmaken. God balanse. Mersmak!
