Bottle from Faust Brewery Webshop, Miltenberg, Bayern and consumed at home Thurssday 22nd April 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music we have the Aubergine rolls with Ricotta and in a Tomato Sauce tea tonight. Pours gold with a slight haze, soft mouthfeel, very nice there is a light maltiness, it is an easy drinking beer, you could happily session on this.

0,5 l swing top bottle from a local Getränke Hoffmann. Hazy red golden with a more than two finger foamy head. More grainy than grassy smell. Taste starts grainy, caramel, some diacetyl with a straw bitterness. Present hop. Okay.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C-pale). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 1701 0307 00102 (BBF 03.01.19). AROMA: oxidized aroma (cardboard) followed by a slughtly sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: medium-high oxidized notes (cardboard and dried grass). background of slightly sweet malt. medium-low to low bitterness with a slightly sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: already past its best before date. Demands re-tasting.

Bottle, loud pop when opening. Hazy yellow-golden color with huge white head. Aroma is a bit soapy, mildly bready, flowery, honey, some apricots, slight tartness in the aroma, a touch apple. Taste is sweetish malts, with a touch fruity sourness, flowery, lemony, some apricots again and also a touch apple again. Silky mouthfeel with high but soft carbonation. Interesting, but could use more hops.

Pours honey yellow with a thick, foamy head. The aroma is red grape juice just after the pour, quickly vanishing to be replaced with a mix of hay and garden herb. Taste is overall sweet and fairly typical for the style with traces of honey, lemon and bread. Medium bodied. Overall decent but very dull. Doubtful that this was worth 30 minutes of my life.

[backlog] 12-04-16 / bottle. Medium sweet. Malty base, not to strong. Light flower, hay aroma. Slight bitter. Good. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3/5
