Barrel aged imperial stout with evocative notes of coffee & luxurious bittersweet chocolate. This “Breakfast Stout” was brewed with huge quantities of oats (we love oats in a stout), a generous amount of locally roasted Brazilian Santos coffee and Valrhona toasted cocoa nibs. It was then left to mature in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels for several months.

Bottle shared from Arbor, NYE to 2019 beer! Near black with a thin tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla and molasses. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Cotteridge as a Christmas gift. Oily black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma woody bourbon and roasted malty. Smooth rich and full bodied.

Aus der Flasche 2018-08 getrunken. Dieses deutlich Kaffee- lastige Stout überzeugt von seiner wunderebare Balance.der Atome vornehmlich wie Kaffee, der AlkoholGehalt und auch der Faßeinfluß. Alles ist deutlich aber nichts dominiert. Traumstoff!
