Torsdag på Lokomotivværkstedet maj-19: fra flaske hos African Beer-standen. Klar gylden med kort skum. Søte appelsiner, karamel og forsiktige fyrrenåle. Helt ok, men dog en dime-a-dozen.

Clear light amber, offwhite froth. Sweet malt aroma, light notes of honey and hops. Malty flavour, sweet with mild floral hops. Ok tasty, feels a little watery at first but actually has a fairly smooth mouthfeel with a floral, slightly spicy hop finish.

Bottle, something of a surprise find in London, at The Savanna South African shop at Liverpool St Station, which normally only has ’mainstream’ SA beers and ciders. Pours clear amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of light hop and caramel, grass, plus floral and fruit notes. Medium plus sweetness. light bitterness. Toward medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sticky and slightly bitter.
