Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza, 2017 - London. Pours black-brown with a foamy, tan head. Sweet with notes of burnt brown bread, light ash, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, further ashy roast, charred sugars. Not bad overall.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, toasted brown sugar, toffee, wood, umami, dark chocolate and earth. The taste is soft, sweet and sugary upfront, then roasted malt, cocoa, oily, woody, brown sugar, tannin and warming alcohol with a dry, sort of bitter finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and quite thick mouth -feel. Quite oily and sits heavy on the palate. OK, but had hoped for more.

Beaverfest Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and has good fine carbonation. Thin dark malts but with rich chocolate, somewhat tangy. A little bitterness and mild spice. Modest bourbon soaked fruits. Dry spicy. Decent but could be smoother.

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day juan, 08/09/17. Black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is charr, roast malt, black peppery spice, bitter fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark chocolate, malt forward, spice, fruit cake. Medium + body, fine carbonation, warming alcohol kiss in the close. Low end for the style for this Bois ... a bit too hot and lacking class.
