Dry hopped Belgian Pale Ale brewed together with Stillwater. Breakdancing into your nostrils, Skullwater slaps you back to the 90’s like a fish in a global hypercolor T-shirt doing the running man. The smell of midnight munchies, banana Angel Delight and strawberry Pop Tarts in the air, pepped up with ripe juicy mango, black pepper and spicy nutmeg. Collapse into a marshmallowy soft, oversize pastel sofa as you crush this baby, and let the good vibes wash over you. Sweet hits of Sunny D and sticks of Juicy Fruit jammed with banana, pineapple and fresh peach linger til you hit that bitter wall of chewed pencil ends, tea and sleep. Smashable.

Can at home, 20/08/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter citric peel, grapefruit, juicy hop notes, toasted bread, straw, orange wine gums. Taste comprises light mineral bite, hop presence noted, lemon meringue, citric splashed straw, tangerine, sharp orange, light candied fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy gear, less Belgian and more hop jus for me,

Can from Hop Locker #1. It pours cloudy bright golden with medium foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, sweet pineapple, lychee, dragon fruits, tinned fruit, candy, cracker, bread, bit of spice, hay and damp grass. The taste is dry, bitter, juicy pineapple action, tinned fruit, candy, touch of sherbet, decent amount of spice, straw, grassy, grainy and green banana with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. I’m never sure on Belgian yeast with modern hops, but this one works well. Good pineapple character to it.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pear, pineapple yeast and white bread. Flavour of lime, white pepper, grapefruit and grass. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An interesting beer but not one I’d seek out again.

330ml can. Cloudy golden colour with a big white head, good retention. Aroma: fruity hops, yeast, pepper, citrus, peach. Taste: fruity, citrus, grapefruit, mango, peach, slightly spicy pepper and yeast. Medium body and carbonation. Very good, feels like a juicy IPA/Belgian Ale hybrid.
