Dry hopped Belgian Pale Ale brewed together with Stillwater. Breakdancing into your nostrils, Skullwater slaps you back to the 90’s like a fish in a global hypercolor T-shirt doing the running man. The smell of midnight munchies, banana Angel Delight and strawberry Pop Tarts in the air, pepped up with ripe juicy mango, black pepper and spicy nutmeg. Collapse into a marshmallowy soft, oversize pastel sofa as you crush this baby, and let the good vibes wash over you. Sweet hits of Sunny D and sticks of Juicy Fruit jammed with banana, pineapple and fresh peach linger til you hit that bitter wall of chewed pencil ends, tea and sleep. Smashable.

5/IX/17 - 33cl can @ home - BB: 27/X/17 (2017-1468) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the can!
Pretty cloudy pale blonde beer, small creamy head, unstable, non adhesive. aroma: very nice, lots of tropical fruits, pineapple, lychees, lovely stuff. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness at first, lots of lychee, citrus, pineapple, orange peel, some orange juice notes even. Aftertaste: lychee, papaya, lots of tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, hoppy bitter finish. Lovely beer. Not sure what's so Belgian about it. For sure not the hops!

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a moderate, foamy white head. Some bread crust in the aroma, a little lemon, tangerine, wheat, sourdough, straw. Light-medium sweet flavour with soft grassy bitterness, some rindy notes, more wheat bread, a little grain husk. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with quick grassy bitterness, mellow yeast notes, somewhat dry bread, more crust, a little alcohol warmth. Solid Belgian-inspired gear.

Can bought at Beer Gonzo. Pours hazy golden with a tight white head. Aroma is floral, light pine, yeasty, some citrus. On the taste it’s uber juicy, lemon, tangerine, candied fruits, sherbert, sweet edge. Medium bodied, juicy. Carbonation was fine. Decent balance of juicy sweetness with a gentle tartness. Not particularly ’Belgian’ to my taste, but I really enjoyed it

330ml can, thanks to Paolo for this! Pours murky golden yellow, small foamy white head. Fresh, sherbetty lemon zest aroma. Taste presents a smooth, lightly tangy, zesty, peppery candy sugar sweet Belgian pale character with a pillowy soft mouthfeel. Dry-hopping presents a noticeable citric hoppy element with a proportionately moderate bitterness. Everything in balance, super light and smooth, this is an excellent Belgian-style pale.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Glowing, yellow gold. Thick and glossy, dense, bright white head. Looks great. Nose has candied peel. Soft, peppery yeast. Lemon rind. Some bready grain. Taste is yeasty sweet, with minimal bitterness. Soft carbonation and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Some bitterness to finish. Nice for not being too hopped up.

Can courtesy of Geraint and Helen, cheers you two! We had this at home Wednesday 23rd August 2017 Hazy gold with a white head. Soft in the mouth, a little creamy, pleasant for being hoppy, smooth and an easy drinking beer. There is a little continental touch to this but again not hugely spicy or yeasty. Very good.
