Keg at Cock Tavern, Hackney. Saccharine aroma. Pale yellow gold. Super thin white bubbly head. Initial bitter with a sour edge. Underlying sweetness with yeast. Light bodied. But has a sold mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Long finish. Fine just doesn't excite me.

(Draught at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 23 Nov 2018) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, hay, grass and peaches. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, peaches, hay and a low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing, but fairly mild. Enjoyable.

Minimal off white head left a spotty cover on a translucent pale golden still body. No aroma. Medium bodied thinning to the back, sharp & tingly over the palate with a clean finish dry finish. Sweet peach, blueberry, pith & sweet citrus tastes with bitter tangy finish.

Poured up via bright tank at the pub where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up lagery yeast notes, a sense of pale malts and then a thin stream of spicy floral hops. The taste delivers an initial brief sweet maltiness that quickly moves into floral to spicy to faintly citrus hop flavor and bitterness. It picks a pleasing mild cracker note as well as a mild lager yeast ester sensation into the finish. Solid kolsch that remains nimble.
