0,5 flaske fra Vinmonopolet Straensenteret, delt med skibsrederen etter endt tapping av vår Admiral ipa: lett uklar mørk mahogny med flott skum som varer forbi siste dråpe. Overbevisende aroma og smak med stor fylde uten å være påtrengende. Ristet brød, nøtter, mørke fløtekarameller, milde urter og noen lett jordaktige toner. Lekker, saftig og balansert med flott munnfølelse, mild bitterhet og laang ettermsmak. fyldig og lettdrikkelig på samme tid. Iflg etiketten skal dette være en American style brown ale med abv 5,6 (IBU 29,8 og EBC 34). Hvem har rett, bryggeriet eller RB?

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 10.03.18. Bottle labelled 5,6 % ABV, American style brown ale. Dark mahogany. Foamy, dense and persistent beige head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of dark berries, roasted nuts and sweet dark malt. Very quaffable.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes, shared at a ratings session with Snegurochka, Finn and TheCellarer. Dense, rocky beige head. Bright amber-brown body, spotty lacing. Bread and brown malty nose. Malty-fruity flavours together with earth and wood. Slightly roasted mid-sweet ending. Fine depth. Quite pleased. (Tromsø 26.01.2018).

Flaske 500ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham, Snegurochka og TheCellarer i WCveien 26 Jan 18. Dyp amber. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Aroma av rabarbra & sukkertøy. Smaken som aromaen. Balansert. Lett tørr ettersmak. Myk munnfølelse. Vel søt.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Randers Emperor of California ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - grass, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, dried fruit, wood, nutty - grass, light sour wort notes. Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, lavender, malt, fruits, hops and has a nice woody hoppy finish.
