A tasteful ode to our parents and grandparents station wagons of yesteryear. The sailboats of the road that offered a backseat experience took us all way back. Bonneville is an American style barley wine that was aged in bourbon barrels for 19 months. Like a wood paneled land yacht, Bonneville comfortably seats a family of characteristics: caramel, marmalade, black tea, marzipan, and vanilla.

8oz pour at High Side. Murky brown leggy, beige head. Nose is very boozy, malty, witchhazel, soggy bread, cookie. Bourbon is very present. Flavor is very sweet and chewy. Malt and brown sugar and heavy butterscotch. Vanilla, big caramel sauce. Finishes very full bodied, very sweet. Chewy. Boozy.

Bottle at Arde's residence, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Ripe fruits, raisins, some hops and malts. Lots of nice mellow elements on malt profile. Nice!

375 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%. Hazy dark brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, molasses, caramel, bourbon, oak, vanilla and marzipan. Moderate carbonation, rich mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also notes of raisins and other dark dried fruits. Moderate hops. A real treat for your sweet tooth.

Bottle @ Forstadsdiscgolfslysshare. Pours hazy dark brown with a small bubbly white head. Aromas of toffee, vanilla, dark fruits, orange, caramel, light hoppy. Taste has lots of sweet caramel, toffee, subtle hoppy fruity notes, bready malts.

Aroma is grainy malts with marzipan, kandi and vanilla, as well as cocoa, raisins and wooden barrels. Oily body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is grainy malts with marzipan, toffee, honey and caramels, as well as fruity notes with dates and raisins, vanilla and bourbon barrels.

Sample during Blarney Wine Festival 2019 on 03/16/2019. Slightly hazed mahogany color with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, malt, vanilla and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, raisin and vanilla. The finish is sweet with an oaky vanilla and fruit aftertaste. Good beer all around.
