Pours golden clear. Weak Aroma is of malts and cereal. Lightly sweet, malty, moderate carbonation, with a light hops presence. More full bodied than a normal Becks and also warmer due to the higher ABV. Decent.

Mar ’15. A 0.33 l bottle from some supermarket in Berlin, along with the other two from the series. This one of course poured clear, fizzy yellow body with small head. Fine malty aroma, honey and light grain. Decent hop profile, too. Lightly sweet flavor of biscuit, bread and fine honey. Herbal bitter hop component doesn’t fail either, making it an elegant and a full bodied pilsener. Some offs like soap in the finish, but anyway it’s a nice pilsener and no matter it’s Becks, this one is worth trying.

Pale golden coloured body with a light off-white head. Aroma of grass, malt, metal and a touch of rice - nothing too pleasant. Light-bodied; Strong malty and metallic flavour at first with some wheat and grass noticeable and a lot of sweetness for the style. Aftertaste shows some decent malt and sweetness, but a touch deep and assertive with the metallic flavours as well. Overall, not a great beer, as expected and not worth trying, unless you can get it for free like me! I sampled this 33 cL bottle from the Senator Lounge (Lufthansa) in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany on 11-August-2015, waiting for my flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.
