33cl Fles van Malt n’ Beer. Donkerbruine tot zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Licht geturfd, donker fruit, licht gebrand, chocolade, bittere finish, heeft ook iets licht zilts. Lichte tot medium body. Smaakvol.

330ml bottle from the Norman Christmas market in Jersey. Pours a near black with next to no head. Aromas & tastes of dark fruits, caramel, peat, brown sugar & roasted malt. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, falls down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, banana, yeasty, dried fruits, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, good roast, grains, cow fodder, hay, some chocolate. Aftertaste: yeast, alcohol, more roast, bitter, dry, a bit spicy, good stuff!
