Bottle. An unclear pale golden beer with a small, white head. Lemon and coriander seeds in the flavor, wheat malts too. The flavor too has some pale malts in the back, but it’s the lemon and coriander that does most of the beer. Some bitterness too, and a soapy, coriander finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, medium dry on the palate. Not bad this one, but too straight forward and boring. 141011

Belgian-style witbier from Luxemburg with mousse-like, yellowish white, not very stable head and murky ochre blonde colour. The original Redange version had a wheaty profile as expected, bit sourish, hints of orange, faint malt sweetness, light herbal hoppiness in the finish without bitterness; the resurrection of this beer after Redange’s demise in 2005 is a tad less sourish, a bit more yeasty, more ’powdery’ in the mouth and dryer, with a more hazy look, even milky cloudiness after adding the deposit. But it is still a boring example of this style that could use a more lively fruitiness.

(Draught at Go Ten Café, Luxembourg, 16 June 2014) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, wheaty nose with notes of peaches, citrus and white bread. Fruity, wheaty taste with bread, peaches, citrus and a finish with a low bitterness and a certain sweetness. Medium body. Not bad, quite refreshing and enjoyable.

Hazy pale yellow, huge unstable white head. Aroma of coriander, grass, some citrus. Taste is grainy, fruity and malty. High carb, ok.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch leicht hefig, leicht fruchtig, Gewürze. Geschmack hefig würzig, leicht fruchtig.

33 cl bottle, 17/03/14, 13:13858,
The beer starts fresh yeasty, nice clove aroma, pears instead of banana. Interesting. -the mainpart is fullbodied, smooth, yeasty-peary, Nicely smooth and not too sweet in the end.
A great Weizen! I like this interesting aroma-combination. Great stuff! --> 13/12/13/13

Bottle, 5.4%. Coriander and clove aroma. Milky pale yellow colour. Big chalk white head, seems stable enough. The flavour is watery with some coriander and clove. Quite clean. A little orange note. Low bitterness. High carbonation. Isotonic feel.

Bottle. Pours cloudy pale yellow with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and grain with a note of needles and a faint touch of fruit. Sweetish, fruity and malty taste with notes of malt and bubblegum. Mild finish with notes of banana. Drinkable but nothing really revolutionary.
