0.5 l bottle from ’Mein-Biershop.de’, best before August 2016. Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, prunes and strawberry jam. Very sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of lots of raisins, prunes, molasses, strawberry jam, some caramel and hints of port, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Full body, almost oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A bit simple, but tasty and saturating Eisbock.

Pours reddish brown, no head. Quite sweet, caramel, dried fruit, alcohol is present, but overly considering the ABV.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Barwa to slabo zaparzona czarna herbata. Zapach kompotu se sliwek i truskawek. Nieco nawet zawyzam ocene bo rzadko mam okazje testowac ten styl.

Dark brown with little white head. Aroma is chestnut, green apples, plums, green grass. Taste is spicy, some sweet phenolic syrupy figs with slight bitter alcohol. Heavy but drinkable and quite oily, sweet finish with some bitter alcohol. Acceptable.

Bottled at Ottawa gathering. Hazy amber, small head. Raisiny bready nose. Sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Deep, raisiny bready malt. Mild grass. Warming finish. Down to earth malt bomb.

A copper amber book with no head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, light plums, light bourbon, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, alcohol warmth, treacle, light butterscotch, light mineral notes, cereal character. Bottle at Per’s Almost gone tasting, March 2017.

Clear deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Good lacing. Toffee and dried fruits in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation. Nice mellow sweetness for a beer like this. And dangerously well hidden alcohol. Raisins, plums, some chocolate and toffee in the flavor. Decent nice evening sipper.
