Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Pours gold, big white head, hazy. Had this Wednesday 27th November 2019 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6 Music cooking Chilli con Carne. Taste is wheaty malty but also a little ice creamy, soft mouthfeel, very easy going, like this.

Bottle. Orange blonde, cloudy. Confit fruit and banana sweets in the aroma. Yeasty sweet flavor with marzipan, banana sweeties and alcoholic notes.

Fles 50cl thuis. Zoet, vol, romig, flink hefe, honingtonen, banaan, fruitig, licht boozy. Goed. (9-6-2019).

Weizenbock mit 7,2 % Alkohol und angeblich 17 % Stammwürze. Farblich geht das noch als heller Bock durch. Gibt es leider nur in der Weihnachtszeit. Irre Menge Hefe, die da durchs Glas wabert. Eine bayerische Lavalampe, geradezu hypnotisch. Auch geschmacklich eine Bombe. Volles Aroma aus Bananen und Hefe, mit Spuren von Aprikose. Den höheren Alkoholgehalt schmeckt man, stört aber nicht. Kaum Kohlensäure, dadurch wunderbar weich. Tolle, cremige Konsistenz. Ich kannte bisher nur den dunklen Weizenbock von Gutmann und der hat mich ehrlich gesagt nicht vom Hocker gehauen (vom Weißbierspezialisten Gutmann erwarte ich mehr). Aber das ist ein ganz anderes Kaliber. Das helle Weizen von Gutmann ist einfach eine Sensation. Und das ist das helle Gutmann Weizen auf Steroiden!!! Meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Weizenböcke, die auf diesem Planten zu finden ist.

From the bottle. Gold with a frothy white head that lingers. Aroma full of banana, spices and honey. Taste is mildly sweet, warming, with lingering spice. Body is medium to full, carbonation is mild. Pleasant sipping.

Optisch typisches Weizen, in der Nase Banane. Im Trunk Banane, dann Honig, kurz danach kickt der Alkohol rein, wird aber nicht zu brutal. Verhältnismäßig süffig, beim zweiten Schluck mischt sich auch Getreide mit rein, wird so etwas crispy. Lecker.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle, best by April 17, 2018 poured into glass. Cloudy orange with small off-white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. This one may be past it’s prime.

Slight sour aroma, off-white head. Malt is apparent, reminiscent of some Saisons. Fascinating taste and palate.

0,5 l bottle from Rücker, Lengerich. A murky gold, nearly juicy with a mid one finger white head in the glass. Intensive Hefeweizen smell, banana, wheat, yeast, sulfur and caramell. Taste starts smooth. Fruity, wheat, yeast, chewing gum. Easy drinking with hidden alcohol.Some sweetness. Really nice.

Bottle from Mein-Biershop.de. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Lively carbonation. Aroma of banana, citrus, wheat. Taste is sweet banana, malty but also refreshing wheat notes. Well balanced. Very nice Weizen Bock.
