13th May 2017: Hamm Bierbörse. 0.3 litres on-tap at the breweries stall/bar. Wasn’t expecting a clear pour, anyway this was clear and golden with a white topping that didn’t want to hang around for long. Light herbal/spicey nose, light malty flavour with a mild bitter finish. Had this alongside the breweries Pilsner, not a lot of difference to be honest.

From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Foamy white head. Good malty nose. Wonderfully smooth toasted malt flavor. Nice touch of grassy hops in finish strikes a nice balance. Very drinkable and flavorful. Nice Beer.

0.5l flip-top bottle from rewe in weil. pours a clear golden with a frothy white head. aroma of sweet spicy malts, hay. flavour of grains, butter, apple skin, slightly soapy and oily. easy drinking.

Sampled from bottle shared by Inoven. Clear golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet grains, light bitter aftertaste. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is fresh yeasts, some sweetish fruits, pale malts. Taste is corn, a bit vegetal, DMS, bready-grainy. Oily mouthfeel. What went wrong here? The taste is quite a letdown.

Bottle labelled Kulmbacher Mönchshof Mild Würziges Landbier shared with JMD at HNB 16.10.16. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Fine, but moderate, aroma of pilsner malt, grass and slightly spicy hops. Similar and more pronounced taste. Round mouthfeel. An excellent session beer.

Flaske delt med Ovesen på Holmens aktivitetsdag: klar lys gylden med fint, storboblet skum som varer. Mild, vegetal humlearoma med urter og gress, antydning til krydder. Rund i smaken. Lettbent bitterhet i ettersmaken gjør den lett å drikke. Kjøleskapskald er dette en god forfriskning på en bryggerdag.
